Welcome to The Spiritual School ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website located at thespiritualschool.com and associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Spiritual School provides a daily contemplative practice platform. Our reflections are generated using artificial intelligence grounded exclusively in public-domain philosophical, contemplative, and spiritual texts.

Every passage presented is attributed to a real, verifiable source text and translator.

The Spiritual School is not healthcare, therapy, medical advice, or psychiatric counseling.

• No Clinical Relationship: Use of the Service does not establish a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or any other clinical relationship.
• Not for Crisis Intervention: If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal ideation, or any medical emergency, do not use this app. Please immediately contact your local emergency services or access free, confidential support worldwide at findahelpline.com or dial 988 (in the US/Canada) or 112 (in Europe/India).
• Limitations of AI: Although our system is designed to pair user inputs with real historic texts, artificial intelligence can produce unexpected outputs. Contemplative practices (such as meditation, breathwork, or journaling) should be practiced within your personal comfort and capability.

• You must provide accurate information when registering via email or third-party authentication (such as Google Sign-In).
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the Service.

• Your Reflections and Journals: You retain full ownership of any check-in text, journal entries, intentions, or notes you submit to the Service ("User Content").
• License to Provide Service: You grant us a limited, secure license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the application, classifying themes, retrieving matched passages, and returning grounded reflections.
• No AI Training on Your Words: We process your reflections via commercial AI Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) under terms that strictly prohibit using your personal entries or reflection logs to train public AI foundation models.

• Source Texts: The historical texts, translations, and scriptures used within the library are in the public domain.
• The Platform: The interface design, brand identity, curation systems, software code, and editorial structures of The Spiritual School are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or scrape our platform without prior written consent.
• Reflection Exports: You are free to export, save, and share personal Reflection Cards generated through the Service for personal, non-commercial use.

You may delete your account and stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive scraping, or attempt to compromise the security of our infrastructure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Spiritual School and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any practices suggested herein. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
